The largest cookware company in India – Hawkins Cookers Limited is responsible for the production of Hawkins Pressure Cooker/ With three huge manufacturing plants in India, they export their cookware products to more than 60 countries worldwide.
Hawkins is designed with safety and convenience in mind. It has an inside fitting lid which you cannot open unless the steam pressure inside the cooker falls to a safe level. It means that it is pressure-locked, therefore you can avoid the hassle of pressure cooker exploding and messing up your whole kitchen. Another one of its safety feature is the superior-pressure regulating system which ensures the rapid cooking. They boast of their cooker as being leak-proof, has a shielded safety valve and a long lasting gasket. When you buy them, they come with colored cookbooks and five years warranty.
There are several models of Hawkins namely Futura, Classic, Bigboy, Contura, Ekobase, Ventura, Miss Mary and the Hawkins Stainless Steel. They are made either of aluminum or stainless steel depending on which type you choose. Each one has its own functions and special features to tailor fit to your specific needs.
Hawkins pressure cooker is positively a great product as it has the safety features and functions that are expected and more. Being backed-up by a company that has been around for years, you can definitely expect durability and functionality. Performance wise, the users of Hawkins have nothing to say but satisfaction and happiness. The best thing about Hawkins is its very affordable ($20-$80), very fitting for those who are on a tight budget but would want the convenience and time-saving benefits that a pressure cooker delivers.
